The firm has been an active participant in the privatisation and commercialisation programme almost from its inception in 1988. Our senior partner, Senator Udoma, was part of the team set up by the Federal Government to carry out a review of the Legal Aspects of the Nigerian Privatisation and Commercialisation Programmes in 1991 and as a result the firm was involved in conducting extensive research into the area of privatisation. The firm has subsequently been involved in advising the Federal and State governments on privatisations and has also provided advice to a number of investors that have sought to acquire privatised assets or shares.
