The department provides pro-active and cost-effective assistance as a complement to all of our areas of specialisation and is able to provide services either on a retainer or a transactional basis.  The cost of litigation is high and our firm has a philosophy of not litigating for its own sake and, wherever possible, of encouraging our corporate and commercial clients to resolve their business disputes without resort to litigation.

The Department is able, usually in connection with business acquisitions, to carry out comprehensive legal audits and risk assessments of the litigation portfolios of designated companies.
