Dan Agbor

Dan Agbor heads Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie's Energy and Project Finance Departments. His other specialisations include banking and finance, debt restructuring, debt/equity conversions, corporate restructuring and taxation.

EDUCATION
Mr. Agbor attended the University of Calabar, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science and an MPA degree in Political Science before obtaining his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Benin in 1985. He attended the Nigerian Law School and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria 1986.

Mr. Agbor has published and written papers on banking, secured credit transactions, debt conversion, global depositary receipts, foreign investment and international joint venture agreements. He serves as Chairman, and is a board member of, various companies.

Mr. Agbor is ranked as one of the "World's Leading lawyers" in the Corporate/M&A section of Chambers Global Directory. He was one of the advisers involved in the Africa Telecomms Deal of the Year and is featured in the International Financial Law Review (Expert Guides). He is also a contributor to the International Law Office's Energy and Natural Resources Newsletter.
